Back to school in 2025: ENSEA Alumni write the first chapter of their history with 300+ new engineers
For the first time in many years, ENSEA welcomed more than 300 first-year students - a record that marks a turning point for the school and its ecosystem. From the very first day, ENSEA Alumni was there, alongside management, to remind them of the obvious: becoming an ENSEA engineer means joining a family. Here's a look back at a new academic year marked by innovation, encounters and the commitment of graduates to support the next generation.

For the first time in many years, ENSEA is welcoming more than 300 first-year students - a record that marks a turning point for the school and its ecosystem.
From the very first day, ENSEA Alumni was there, alongside management, to remind them of the obvious: becoming an ENSEA engineer means joining a family. Here's a look back at a new academic year marked by innovation, encounters and the commitment of graduates to support the next generation.

Monday, September 1: the village de la Rue, or how to break the ice (and preconceived ideas)
New this year: an ephemeral village set up in the Rue de l'ENSEA, where each of the school's departments had its own stand .
Among them, ENSEA Alumni volunteersPascal, Maeva and Karl welcomed the newcomers in small groups, guided by students from previous classes.
The aim is to turn apprehension into curiosity, and questions into concrete exchanges.
"Many of them still don't know that the Association will be there for them long after they graduate," says Maeva. "Some were surprised to discover that they could finance a student project or find a mentor as early as 1st year! "
After lunch, it was time for the associations' rally, where the Alumni stand extended the discussions.
"We felt a real interest in associative life," adds Karl.
September 2: ENSEA Express, a fun way to learn
Imagine: the General Manager of ENSEA has disappeared.
To find him, students had to solve a giant murder party, with a compulsory stop at the ENSEA Alumni office.
"To get their clue, they had to answer 3 questions about our history or our services," explains Alix. "Some came away with graduate contacts in their chosen field! "
Connective Day: networking back to the future
No class sponsors in the first week of the new academic year! This year, it's time for an Alumni mini-meetup, with 20 young graduates (classes 2020 to 2024) sharing their unfiltered experiences :
-
"How I chose my specialty
-
"My internship abroad: the difficulties and the favourites".
-
"Professional life after ENSEA: what I knew (and especially what I didn't know)".
"We wanted to avoid the 'formal conference' aspect," says Vincent Merval. "The students loved being able to ask hard-hitting questions, like "Is the double degree really worth it?" "
- This format has forged new bonds , and students are already planning to attend the big Alumni Meetup on November 22!

Why this commitment from graduates? Because ENSEA is a history that is passed on
This new academic year proved one thing: the ENSEA spirit doesn't stop at the diploma.
Whether via :
🔹 The support fund (financial aid for student projects)
🔹 Mentoring (one graduate = one ally for career choices)
🔹 Exclusive events (afterworks, conferences, sports challenges)
"When we see a hesitant student leave with a smile on his face, saying 'I didn't know it was that easy to contact you', we think we've won," sums up Pascal.
